This time a housier outing with two beautiful remixes from Afro Latin house legend Jose Marquez & incredible NYC based producer & DJ Toribio. Jose strips Mambue down to the chanted vocals from Son Palenque's Justo Valdez alongside raw percussion and synth work that bounces and builds throughout the deep Afro House workout. Toribio injects Mi Tierra with heavy latin jazz vibes that dip into psychedelic at moments while expertly maintaining momentum and dance floor energy. It's a truly impressive & creative remaking of the Merengue & Salsa leaning original. Bosq takes his turn with another alternate mix from the record, this time taking the instrumental version of Mi Tierra into a Caribbean disco dub direction focusing on the disco & funk elements of the original.
